When you become a member of St. Mary of the Harbor, you become a member of the Episcopal Church, a church with historic ties to the Church of England, the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion.

Being a member of this church is to be a part of a community that chooses to follow the way of love that Jesus Christ himself followed. Our beliefs are rooted in his teachings and informed by his sacrifice on a cross and in the defeat of death accomplished in his resurrection.

You can become a member of the church through baptism, through confirmation or reception by a bishop, or by transferring your membership from another parish.
