Living in Communion 

 

We are not masters but caretakers of this beautiful yet fragile world.  As such, we are committed to living in communion with nature. To that end, St. Mary's has made changes to reduce our carbon footprint and our waste through recycling.  Over the years, significant investments have been made including the installation of LED ligting and energy efficient electric HVAC systems.  In November 2018, St. Mary's installed solar panels and now produces electricity that powers the church and the parish hall, reducing our dependence upon heating oil.   We are members in the Faith Communities  Environmental Network and support the Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative
