We are very proud of the hard work accomplished by our committees.& Many dedicated people donate their time and talent so St. Mary's can carry out Christ's mission in the world. If you are interested in serving on any of the following committees, please speak to or email the chairperson.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild contributes to the sanctity of the liturgy by preparing the altar and chancel for services, maintaining liturgical linens, elements and vestments, and decorating as appropriate.

Buildings and Grounds
This Committee is responsible for the care of our sacred space. This includes: caring for the garden, preparing a repair and maintenance schedule for our buildings, overseeing repairs and maintenance.

Communications
Members of this Committee are responsible for all the ways in which we spread the news about our parish. These include publication of our newsletter "The Outermost Voice", maintenance of our website, communications with the media, upkeep of our signs.

Hospitality
Members of this Committee oversee our coffee hour after services, both on Sundays and for other occasions.

Lay Ministries
Service ministries include the role of: acolyte, healer, usher, intercessor, lector, homilist.

Music
The St. Mary’s Choir sings at the 10 AM Sunday Service and on other occasions when that is possible. There are generally two rehearsals a week, one just before the 10AM Service, and one on some evening during the week.

Outreach
The Committee is responsible for allocating our tithe of 10% of all of our income to various organizations which they recommend to the Vestry.

Summer Fair/Events
The Summer Fair on the first Saturday in August is one of the major fundraisers of the year. There are many ways to participate in this fun-filled, community building event, from setting up tables and booths, to selling chances, to managing the art auction, to making and serving lunch, and much more. It is a highlight of our year.

Stewardship/Finance
The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to foster an attitude of gratitude and accountability within the congregation by serving God, the church, and our neighbors with our God-given resources.

Worship and Christian Education
Worship is the heart of our parish life. Members of this Committee plan liturgical services and provide opportunities for us to experience the richness of the Episcopal liturgical tradition.
This Committee is also charged with educational resources both for the adults and children of the parish. We have Sunday School at 10AM each Sunday and use a wonderful curriculum “The One Room Sunday School”. The Committee is charged with staffing the Sunday School. This Committee also plans adult education at various times a year.
